podcast post production diary

 this is my podcast postproduction diary. this shows my process of editing of my podcast on logic pro.

this is logic pro what i will be using to edit my podcast. as you can see there is two tracks of audio the first track (audio 1) is my audio and the track below it is my friends audio who recorded the podcast with me. 

the first step i took to edit my podcast was turning on advanced tools this would allow me to use the snipping tool by pressing the command key on the keyboard. this would allow me to be able to cut out unwanted peaces of audio such as someone getting talked over or if you could hear the other person breathing or any other back ground noice while the other was talking this makes a better listening experience. 

the previous two images show how i had selected a piece of audio where Teigan coughed while i was speaking i cut around the unwanted peace of audio and pressed the backspace key on my keyboard to get rid of the selected peace of audio. on the next image i repeated the same step but with my audio where Teigan began to speak i cut my audio. i repeated this through out the full podcast.
